Active in personal computers since the days when such devices were built using a soldering iron rather than being assembled from manufactured components, Mr. Ezzell is the author of more than two dozen books on computers and computer programming. He has worked extensively in many different areas of the industry, both in software and hardware design and has international patents covering imaging of gemstones as well as an object-oriented graphic user interface predating Windows.
Mr.
Ezzell also completed the U.S. Navy Class "A" and
“C” Electronics Schools, serving in antisubmarine
warfare (avionics) as well as running several electronics
repair facilities.
